Job Description

At CCL Tube we provide state-of-the-art packaging solutions in plastic tubes & innovative product labeling, to some of the world's largest producers of consumer brands in personal care, cosmetics, & pharmaceutical products. The Wilkes-Barre, PA facility has an immediate opening for Tool Room Technician.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintains a safe and clean working environment while providing optimum quality. Reviews production schedule/reports of the department and ensures objectives are ascertained. Communicates quality, material and other department issues to managers/supervision by performing the following duties. Ensures all shop machinery and equipment are in proper working condition. Evaluates, monitors and maintains stores and tooling so the optimum production performance is achieved. Maintains proper documentation of all parts/tooling. Assists in changeovers and setups on the production line as needed. Maintains tooling in a state of quality/readiness for upcoming changeovers. Performs routine preventive maintenance on tooling and shop machinery. Identifies and promptly reports equipment malfunction, material, and safety and quality issues to supervisor. Complies with company personnel and safety policies and Good Manufacturing Practices. Performs special projects and assignments as directed by supervisory personnel.
