We're seeking an Assistant Production Supervisor to support our Assembly & Wiring operations. This role is ideal for someone with manufacturing and electrical assembly experience who is ready to take the next step into leadership while remaining actively involved on the production floor. You'll work closely with the Production Manager to help coordinate daily operations, support team members, and ensure products are built safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. Responsibilities Assist the Production Supervisor in overseeing daily assembly and wiring operations on the factory floor Support team members in the use of hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment to ensure proper assembly procedures are followed Coordinate with warehouse staff to manage inventory of parts, components, and tools necessary for production tasks Ensure safety protocols are adhered to by all team members, including proper operation of forklifts and other machinery Monitor workflow on the assembly line to optimize productivity and quality standards Conduct routine inspections of equipment and work areas to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards Provide guidance and training to team members on assembly techniques, wiring processes, and tool usage Experience 2+ years of manufacturing, assembly, or electrical wiring experience Previous experience as a team lead, trainer, or informal leader preferred Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Good communication and interpersonal skills Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Preferred:
