Must-Haves Education:
High School diploma or GED (required) Technical Machine Tool & Die certification or related experience (required)Experience:
Minimum 5 years of Machining/Tool & Die experience (required) Knowledge of a variety of stamping dies including progressive and transfer diesTechnical Skills:
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical diagrams Functional mathematical ability including knowledge of fractions and decimals for calculations and measurement computing Proficient general maintenance knowledge Machine tooling experience on conventional machines including lathes, milling machines, drill presses, surface grinders, CNC, and band sawsCore Competencies:
Ability to read/comprehend written instructions and follow verbal directives Follow machine-specific safety procedures and operational guidelines Compliance in ALL safe work practices, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures Strong self-motivational skills with team mentality Effective communication across shifts with operators, maintenance personnel, and supervisorsPhysical Requirements:
Close visual acuity with near/far vision capability Repetitive standing, walking, and/or bending Medium to heavy lifting (up to 65 lbs capability)Work Availability:

Steel Service Center experience What You'll Achieve Technical Leadership & Problem-Solving Troubleshoot, maintain, repair, and provide preventative care for multiple stamping products Perform routine maintenance and machine set-up functions across production lines Operate and utilize various machine shop equipment to meet exacting standards Precision Tooling & Equipment Management Execute machine tooling actions on conventional machines including lathes, milling machines, drill presses, surface grinders, CNC, and band saws Set up and prep product tooling dies and related machinery/equipment to meet production specifications Read and interpret technical drawings for precise machine specifications Maintain recordkeeping for tool and die program and critical spares program Cross-Functional Collaboration Communicate effectively with operators, maintenance personnel, and supervisors across multiple shifts regarding tooling requirements, status, and parameters Work with internal, external, and customer groups to understand product requirements Provide maintenance support for related equipment and ensure production continuity Safety & Compliance Champion safe work practices across all tooling operations Ensure compliance with safety procedures, operational guidelines, and company policies Maintain a culture of safety awareness and accountability Impact on Operations Your technical expertise and leadership will be critical to maintaining production efficiency and quality standards. You'll serve as the go-to expert for tooling challenges while ensuring equipment reliability and supporting teams across multiple shifts. Your ability to troubleshoot complex issues and execute preventative maintenance will directly impact uptime and operational success.Compensation & Benefits Total Compensation Package:
Base salary: $80,000- $100,000 12% 401K match (voluntary plan) Quarterly bonuses (total 20%+ in bonuses annually)
