Job Description

Under general supervision, responsible for the efficient operation of an industry program within a correctional setting for a potential multishift operation. Supervise employee/inmate workers. Screen, select, train and evaluate assigned personnel. Provide rehabilitation and self-improvement opportunities for inmates. Supervise activity within manufacturing operation. Responsible for the security of the workplace and to keep area safe for inmates, employees and the public. Serve as correctional officer in maintaining internal security. Supervise and perform administrative functions as assigned/required. Serve as plant manager when needed. Schedule subject to change. Must successfully complete four (4) weeks of SCDC Basic Training upon hire.
