Where is the work:
On-Site (5 days) What's in it for you: As a Production Supervisor- 1st Shift with Trane Technologies, you will use your passion for quality and cost effectiveness in manufacturing to help lead our team in Columbia, SC. You will monitor and coordinate the daily operation of a high-volume, lean manufacturing environment, and partner with other department leads/supervisors to achieve team and plant goals. This position is designed as Onsite, Monday
- Friday with the potential to work Saturdays.
What you will do:
Responsible for overall performance of the team, focusing on safety, quality, cost, time, and output. Supervise materials usage to ensure a smooth production flow. Support ongoing plant programs and goals by identifying opportunities for process improvements. Collaborate with other department supervisors/leaders in Operations, Quality, HR, Finance, Materials, Engineering, and Continuous Improvement. Regularly communicate goals and plant-wide initiatives with the leadership team and all members. Engage in training, development, and fostering positive employee relations. : Collaborating with various department supervisors, resolving team conflicts, and maintaining effective working relationships within the plant.LEADERSHIP
Guiding teams in achieving production goals, implementing plant-wide communication, and motivating teams to adhere to safety, quality, and cost targets.PROBLEM SOLVING
Identifying production-related issues and implementing process improvements to ensure consistent output quality and adherence to safety regulations; supporting plant goals such as units per man hour, safety and 5S, TAKT attainment, and cost as measured by overall plant performance.What you will bring:
Bachelor's degree preferred . Previous manufacturing supervisory or leadership experience. Excellent problem solving and conflict management skills. Effective communication skills that demonstrate a supportive team member.Annual Base Salary Range or Hourly Base Pay Range:
$60,000.00- $109,340.
