You will be the Build Team Associate Manager F-16- 2nd Shift - Level 4 for the Mate Build Area team which is responsible for overseeing manufacturing operations, financial control, and customer relations on the F‑16 production line. What You Will Be Doing As the Build Team Associate Manager F-16- 2nd Shift - Level 4 you will be responsible for managing schedules, budgets, and workforce development while driving quality, continuous improvement, and stakeholder engagement.
Your responsibilities will include:
Manage Earned Value Management System (EVMS) financial control plans and schedules, ensuring adherence to baseline budgets and production targets. Supervise and develop a skilled workforce, fostering technical proficiency, safety, and quality culture. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders, including the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) and the System Program Office. Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives, resolve complex technical issues, and ensure production flow remains free of Foreign Object Debris (FOD). Coordinate staffing, recognize employee achievements, and drive employee development and engagement. US Citizen Basic Qualifications:
At least 6 years experience leading a team in Aviation disciplines relating to Military Sortie Generation, Manufacturing, Maintenance, Modification, Repair or Overhaul (MMRO) Operations. Experience with
Microsoft Office Suite:
Word, Excel, Outlook, Project, and PowerPoint. Experience leading a team to meet critical schedules, resolve complex and/or time sensitive technical or operational issues.
Desired Skills:
Bachelor's Degree from an Accredited College or 6 years Combined Aviation Production, Maintenance, Modification, Repair and Overhaul (MMRO) Excellent Communication skills both written and verbal Ability to read and understand blueprints. Ability to create and utilize metrics related to performance. Earned Value Management System (EVMS) experience. Shop Floor Manager (SFM) experience is a plus. Ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize assignments. Ability to understand budget for the assigned department and budget performance. Demonstrated ability to create, monitor and report on all executive operations metrics. Experience in Lean Manufacturing.

Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees.
