Job Summary To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Production Supervisor located in Columbia, SC. Reporting to the Production Manager, the Production Supervisor will be responsible for directing the manufacturing operations performed in a shift or group of production lines, ensuring they reach volume, quality, and cost goals.
Shift:
11:00pm - 7:00am M-F What a typical day looks like: Leads multiple production processes/lines in a highly technical manufacturing environment to meet quality, cost, delivery, and responsiveness targets. Manages and develops teams of engineers, supervisors, and operators through coaching, training, and performance discussions. Monitors daily operational performance, troubleshoots issues, and drives efficiency, quality, and cost improvement initiatives. Prioritizes production schedules based on product introductions, equipment efficiency, and material availability to meet customer demand. Leads process development, plant improvement, and cost‑reduction projects, providing technical and operational guidance to project teams. Ensures full compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards, including certification, training, and upkeep of a safe, clean work environment. The experience we're looking to add to our team: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 6 years of operations experience. Demonstrates deep technical and functional expertise with broad knowledge across multiple technologies, processes, and functions, including understanding site‑level process interdependencies. Exhibits advanced people, process, and customer relationship management skills, effectively leading teams and partnering with internal and external stakeholders. Applies strong analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills, including data analysis, business reporting, technical documentation, presentations, and practical use of mathematical and operational concepts using standard business tools.
