Manufacturing Supervisor (Urgent Hiring)

Position Summary Roy'zzz is seeking a detail-oriented and hands-on Manufacturing Lead to support and oversee daily production operations. This role bridges leadership and execution—working directly on the production floor while guiding Manufacturing Technicians, ensuring compliance, and maintaining production efficiency. The Manufacturing Lead will report to the Manufacturing Manager and play a key role in driving quality, accountability, and continuous improvement across all manufacturing activities. This is an ideal opportunity for someone ready to step into leadership while remaining actively involved in production. Key Responsibilities Production & Operations Lead daily cannabis manufacturing processes including extraction, post processing, packaging, edibles and all other processes Ensure all production activities follow SOPs, quality standards, and compliance requirements Monitor workflow, prioritize tasks, and ensure production goals are met Troubleshoot production issues and escalate when necessary All duties as assigned Team Leadership Provide day-to-day guidance, support, and direction to Manufacturing Technicians Assist with training new team members on SOPs, safety procedures, and compliance standards Promote a positive, accountable, and team-oriented work environment Step in to support production tasks as needed Inventory & Compliance Ensure accurate tracking of inventory through METRC and internal systems Verify product counts, batch records, and documentation accuracy Support internal audits and compliance checks Maintain strict adherence to all state cannabis regulations Quality Control Conduct routine inspections to ensure product consistency and quality Identify and report discrepancies or quality concerns Maintain accurate production logs, batch records, and all other documentation Safety & Sanitation Promote a Safety First culture on the production floor Ensure adherence to PPE requirements and sanitation standards Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment Continuous Improvement Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and workflow Assist in SOP development and implementation Support equipment setup, maintenance tracking, and operational improvements Minimum Qualifications Must be 21 years of age Ability to pass all required background checks Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment Excellent communication and teamwork skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Biology, Chemistry, or related field preferred 1+ years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred Experience in cannabis manufacturing, production, or regulated environments Familiarity with METRC or similar inventory tracking systems Experience in food production or manufacturing environments Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to lift up to 35-50 lbs Comfortable performing repetitive tasks Ability to bend, reach, and move throughout the production facility Regular exposure to cannabis products and odors Why Join Roy'zzz Competitive compensation Opportunity for growth Hands-on leadership role in a growing cannabis operation Collaborative, energetic team environment Direct impact on building and scaling in-house production Work Environment This role operates in a production/manufacturing environment and requires a hands-on presence on the floor.
