Weekend Production Supervisor (Welding) Ken Garner Manufacturing - 3.7 Chattanooga, TN Job Details Full-time $55,000 - $65,000 a year 15 hours ago Benefits Paid holidays Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Life insurance Qualifications Professional ethics Coaching Supervising experience Team management Managing manufacturing teams Productivity software Safety standard operating procedures Manufacturing company experience Full Job Description Manage daily production activities for approximately 15 reports, in relation to fabrication, welding and potentially painting parts for heavy equipment. This includes laying out daily production requirements, and monitoring quality while ensuring a safe work environment. Friday - Sunday 12 hour shifts Requirements Previous verifiable experience (3 to 5 years min) in Manufacturing Management (Plant Manager, Supervisor, Foreman, etc.) is a must.
Ability to meet requirements regarding:
work safety and adhere to all federal, state and company policies and procedures governing safe work practices and vehicle operations. Sense of urgency, individual responsibility, and ability to effectively work with changing priorities. High ethical standards and ability to function as team player. Self-starter with high level of initiative. Strong interpersonal skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Proficient computer and Microsoft Office skills. Previous experience with welding and fabrication is preferred. The right person is someone with a stable work history that is looking for a new start or growth opportunity with a company that cares about it's employees. Must have a coaching mentality and a desire to help people improve performance. Benefits
THIS IS NOT A TEMP TO HIRE POSITION, IT IS A FULL TIME POSITION WITH BENEFITS.
Employees are eligible for a full benefit package: Excellent pay for those that can perform, 10 paid holidays + 1 week vacation after 6 months, 2 weeks after 18 months, 3 weeks after 5 years, 4 weeks after 10. Medical, dental and vision insurance is offered at very reasonable rates. Family coverage is approximately $100 per week. Company paid life insurance for employee, optional coverage is available for family at additional discounted cost. Uniforms provided. Pay is weekly. Regularly scheduled performance reviews.
