Job Description At G&L Tube LLC, a division of AeroFlow Technologies, we specialize in creating complex tube and duct assemblies using high-performance materials capable of withstanding extreme pressure, temperature, and chemical interactions. You can even find AeroFlow Technologies products aboard NASAs Space Launch System and in the F-35 fighter jets. Thats the level of quality and innovation youll be part of when you join our team.

We are seeking a Tool Room Supervisor to manage all aspects of organizing manufacturing tools and equipment, ensuring high-quality standards and production efficiency. Key responsibilities include managing inventory, leading machinists, enforcing safety compliance, troubleshooting machinery, facilitating the effectiveness of the documented quality program, and talent management.

So, what will you be doing as a Tool Room Supervisor?

Supervise daily tool room activities, including scheduling, prioritizing tool repairs and design of dies, or fixtures. Lead, train, and mentor toolmakers, machinists, and apprentices on best practices, safety procedures, and technical skills.

Work with safety manager and manufacturing team to provide safety solutions for new and existing equipment as needed.

Ensure tools meet production quality standards, maintaining accurate records of service history and repairs.

Foster a collaborative work environment for the engineering and tool room staff while executing daily tasks.

Assist in developing manufacturing plans for new and existing parts by translating customer drawings and specifications into comprehensive work instructions.

Provide support for initiatives to reduce downtime and enhance tool performance.

This position reports to the Operations Manager.

To be successful in this role, youll need:

Excellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to multitask, prioritize, and execute tasks accurately in a fast-paced environmentStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to come up with creative solutions to complex issuesHigh school diploma or GED, requiredTechnical training or a related degree in engineering, preferred.18+ years in manufacturing tooling and design2 years of supervisory experience or leadership/management certification, strongly preferredExperience working with Microsoft Office SuiteStrong mechanical aptitude, proficiency in precision measurement tools, experience with manual mills and familiarity with ERP software: CATIA, Solidworks, or Unigraphics/NX.Reasons Youll Love It HereWe offer a full suite of employee benefits such as medical, dental, and vision insurance; as well as paid vacation, paid personal time, and various opportunities to give back to your local community.
