Job Description

American Colors, Inc. is a customer-focused manufacturer of liquid colorants and specialty chemicals supplied to diverse markets including paint, coatings, adhesives, composites, films, landscape & agriculture. The ideal candidate for this position is an individual who is interested in the support and maintenance all IT related devices and software in multiple locations in the U.S. Position Summary Supports the Plant Manager of American Colors, Inc. by recommending and leading appropriate actions, strategies, and alternatives relating to the manufacturing process of all products produced at our Gallatin, TN facility during second shift operations. Duties and Responsibilities Reviews, analyzes, and improves manufacturing process Solves problems that occur in manufacturing both chemically and mechanically Develops and implements production cost reduction programs Establishes and monitors quality-based standards Trains employees on new or changed processes Manages accurate inventory control Fosters and administers a proper safety environment. Handles customer concerns and issues Implements and ensures
ISO 9001
procedures and certification Fills in for plant manager on an as needed basis. Qualifications and Skills Manufacturing experience preferred Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Computers skills- minimum excel and word Good organizational competency Exceptional analytical proficiency Excellent math skills Effective communication skills Reliable problem-solving ability Must be comfortable integrating new technology into the business environment
