Job Description
Production SupervisorPosition Overview The Production Supervisor oversees daily manufacturing operations, ensuring that production goals are met efficiently while adhering to quality standards. This role is essential in coordinating team efforts, optimizing processes, and implementing best practices in a food manufacturing environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise daily production activities and manage the production team.
Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all manufacturing processes.
Implement Lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
Monitor production metrics and report on performance against targets.
Coordinate packaging operations to ensure timely delivery of products.
Train and develop team members to enhance their skills and performance.
Conduct regular inspections of equipment and processes to ensure optimal operation.
QualificationsBachelor's degree in Food Science, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
Experience in the food industry is highly desirable.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Proficient in analyzing data and using it to drive decisions.
