Strong work ethic Experience leading a team of 6+ employees or someone who is leadership-minded Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with experience using hand and power tools. Experience in resistance welding and weld manufacturing preferred; certification a plus. Knowledge of PLC systems, automation, and production processes. Proven leadership skills with experience supervising production teams. Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to perform basic math and interpret technical instructions. Dependable, willing to learn, and able to work

O Key Responsibilities:

Perform mechanical and electrical setup, adjustments, and startup of weld and assembly equipment. Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair weld cells, PLC-controlled systems, and production equipment. Lead weld cell changeovers, tip changes, and production scheduling activities. Train and guide Weld Operators on proper equipment use and production processes. Ensure all safety systems, poka-yoke devices, and ergonomic features are functioning properly. Maintain accurate records for machine programs, production data, and performance metrics. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce scrap, improve efficiency, and enhance safety. Support production goals by monitoring weld schedules, input/output, and PLC communication. Supervise daily operations including staffing, scheduling, training, and performance management. Participate in PFMEA, layered process audits (LPA), safety audits, and production meetings.
