Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Supervisor to lead our client's manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in factory operations and be proficient in overseeing assembly line processes. This role is critical in ensuring that production goals are met while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. The Production Supervisor will be responsible for managing daily operations, training staff, and implementing efficient production strategies. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily production activities within the manufacturing facility. Ensure that all production processes are running smoothly and efficiently on the assembly line. Monitor the performance of production staff, providing guidance and support as needed. Conduct regular inspections of equipment and machinery, ensuring proper maintenance and operation. Implement safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all employees. Collaborate with other departments to optimize workflow and address any operational challenges. Train new employees on equipment operation, safety procedures, and company policies. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to assist in production tasks when necessary. Experience Previous experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or factory setting is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience operating machinery and equipment. Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics is advantageous. Proven ability to work effectively with assembly line processes and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Experience operating forklifts is a plus, along with knowledge of safety regulations related to manufacturing environments.
