Other duties, assignments, and specific projects may be assigned at the discretion of management. As Drawings are issued, Study Arrangement drawings, Assembly drawings, and parts drawings verifying Quantities, purchase parts, etc. Create K-Module Sheets along with the Shipping list and issue a complete package to Lead Men by priority. Based on the Installation Schedule Supervise and instruct Lead Men daily to ensure they are staying on track with assigned tasks. Communicate with the fabrication & paint department to confirm the necessary parts. Inform Lead Men & Management of quality or production issues as required. Provide and verify Lead Men & Q.C. are maintaining Quality Check Sheets as needed. Supervise and Instruct Lead Men to maintain weekly safety meetings with their team. Communicate with management on safety hazards and request equipment as needed. Monitor Lead Men with employee issues and enforce and keep track of documentation as necessary. Order supplies for Assembly & Shipping as required. Inform Management if there are Quality issues or any problems that require other department approval, if modifications are necessary to obtain a completed product. Schedule all Trucks from Memphis and coordinate with Overseas shipping per schedule. Oversee the staging of all Loads to ensure correct and sufficient shipping is planned. Conduct evaluations of Lead Men and confirm they evaluate their team annually. Approve Vacations for Assembly & Shipping. Coordinate with Management for hiring of new employees and terminating as needed.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or
GED 7-10
years of supervisory experience in Manufacturing. Ability to effectively communicate and manage team members. Proficient in measurement tooling. Ability to read mechanical drawings. Basic computer navigation and utilization skills are required. Knowledge of assembling motors, sprockets, bearings, chains, fasteners, etc. Close attention to detail and self-motivation skills. Work in a team environment and respect all teammates.
