Position Summary The Production Events Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and supporting Innovative Solutions' live event production operations. This role manages event execution, production personnel, equipment utilization, client relationships, and project planning while helping grow the company's production services. The ideal candidate has experience in live event production and a strong understanding of audio, video, lighting, staging, and event logistics. This is a hands-on leadership position that will actively participate in event setup, operation, troubleshooting, and execution while helping develop processes and team members as the division continues to grow. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Operations Lead day-to-day activities of the Production Events division. Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise production personnel and contractors. Develop and improve departmental processes, standards, and best practices. Ensure safe and efficient execution of all production activities. Maintain high standards of professionalism, customer service, and technical excellence. Event Production Management Oversee planning, logistics, execution, and post-event review for live productions. Manage event budgets, labor forecasting, and project resources. Coordinate audio, video, lighting, staging, LED walls, networking, and related production technologies. Ensure events are delivered on time, within budget, and exceed client expectations. Serve as lead production contact for assigned events. Provide hands-on support during setup, operation, troubleshooting, and strike. Client Relations & Business Development Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients. Conduct client meetings, site visits, and production consultations. Develop proposals, scopes of work, and production estimates. Identify opportunities to expand production services and support company growth. Represent Innovative Solutions at industry events, networking functions, and community engagements. Equipment & Asset Management Oversee utilization and maintenance of production inventory. Ensure proper preparation, transportation, deployment, and return of event equipment. Monitor inventory levels and recommend additions to support company growth. Maintain accurate inventory records and equipment readiness. Operations & Performance Assist in managing project budgets and labor utilization. Track project performance and resource allocation. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and service delivery. Support company growth through operational excellence and strong client relationships. Qualifications Required 5+ years of experience in live event production, AVL, entertainment technology, or a related field. Strong knowledge of professional audio, video, lighting, staging, and event production systems. Proven experience leading teams and managing multiple concurrent projects. Experience with budgeting, project management, and client-facing communication. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Must have weekend availability. Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and travel as required. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Preferred CTS, CTS-D, CTS-I, ETCP, or similar industry certifications. Experience with houses of worship, corporate events, education, and large-scale live productions. Knowledge of networking, streaming, broadcast production, and production communications systems. Familiarity with rental inventory management and event operations software.
