Production Supervisor

Production Supervisor SRK SumiRiko The Production Supervisor reports to the General Manager of the Department. Responsible for directing Production Team Leaders in SRK Tennessee production processes. Establish and advance associate skills and teamwork through training and education. Promote associate relations and satisfactorily resolve associate performance issues and concerns through good open communications. Implement and advance SRK philosophy and uphold its rules, regulations and policies in a fair and equitable manner. Establish and maintain a stable production process through 5S, standardization, visual control, and Kaizen to continuously improve safety, quality, delivery, cost and productivity through the use of the CA-PDCA cycle.

Duties Include But Not Limited To :

• Directing activities of SRK Tennessee Team Leaders
• Develop and implement training plans for associates
• Coaching and counseling as required
• Responsible for maintaining a safe work environment for all associates
• Responsible for maintaining customer quality requirements
• Responsible for productivity
• Responsible for process rejects
• Responsible for proper abnormality reporting and action
• Responsible for process improvements in safety and developing countermeasures for problems in the areas of, quality, scrap, and productivity
• Implementing SRK Tennessee philosophy to associates
• Maintaining manufacturing and operation standards, key quality check sheets, necessary packaging standards
• Responsible for manufacturing and shipping of products to customers on time
• Maintaining and adhering to KANBAN systems
• Directing KAIZEN activities for team members
• Working with other departments and Japanese coordinators to achieve above
• May require additional assigned duties

REQUIREMENTS

- Position requires three to five years' supervisory experience, plus an Associate Degree, Bachelor Degree, or the equivalent - training and or experience. Prefer, but not required, to have bilingual communication skill (English/Spanish).
