Production Manager AbiMar Foods is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor (Packaging Supervisor) to lead production teams, ensure workplace safety, maintain product quality, and meet production goals in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise production employees on assigned packaging lines Ensure product quality and compliance with GMP & food safety standards Monitor production schedules, product codes, and packaging accuracy Lead, coach, and train employees for operational efficiency Coordinate manpower and reduce waste, downtime, and overweight issues Support equipment operation, troubleshooting, and minor repairs Enforce workplace safety and environmental safety standards
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required Bakery or food manufacturing experience preferred 3-5 years of supervisory experience required Experience leading teams of 20+ employees preferred Knowledge of SAP, spreadsheets, email, and production systems Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Preferred Skills:
Team leadership and employee development Time management and multitasking Positive attitude and strong sense of urgency Strong focus on food safety, GMP, and operational excellence
Pay:
$70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
