The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, structural steel fabrication experience, and the ability to manage workflow, quality, safety, and production schedules in a fast-paced shop environment. This role is responsible for overseeing shop personnel, coordinating fabrication activities, maintaining production efficiency, and ensuring all work meets company quality and safety standards. Duties Supervise and coordinate daily shop fabrication operations Lead and manage welders, fitters, and shop personnel Read and interpret fabrication drawings, shop drawings, and blueprints Ensure fabrication accuracy and quality standards are maintained Coordinate workflow to meet production schedules and deadlines Monitor shop safety and enforce company safety policies Assist with material organization and production planning Communicate with project managers and leadership regarding production status Train and mentor shop employees in fabrication procedures and best practices Ensure proper use and maintenance of shop equipment and tools Help maintain a clean, organized, and productive work environment Qualifications Proven structural steel fabrication experience Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a fabrication shop required Must be able to read and interpret fabrication/shop drawings Strong understanding of structural steel fabrication processes Experience managing production schedules and shop workflow Excellent communication and leadership skills Bilingual in English and Spanish required Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and safe shop practices Experience with overhead cranes, forklifts, and shop equipment preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment Work Location In person - Bryan, TX Why Join JackRabbit Manufacturing?
