Full Job Description Reports To:
Operations Position Overview A growing manufacturing organization is seeking a Lean Production Supervisor to lead production teams and ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing operations. This hands-on role combines leadership, coaching, and continuous improvement, ideal for someone passionate about Lean Manufacturing and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet output, quality, and safety targets Monitor team performance and provide coaching to maintain productivity and engagement Lead shift meetings, track performance metrics, and address operational issues promptly Implement and support Lean Manufacturing practices, including 5S, visual management, and waste reduction Collaborate with maintenance, quality, and materials teams to troubleshoot production bottlenecks Assist with employee training and development to enhance cross-functional skills Participate in root cause analysis and corrective actions for downtime or quality concerns Uphold company policies and promote a respectful, high-performing culture Qualifications 3+ years of leadership experience in manufacturing or production environments Bilingual (English / Spanish) Hands-on experience with Lean Manufacturing methodologies (Kaizen, 5S, etc.) Strong communication, problem-solving, and team-building skills Ability to read and interpret work orders, safety procedures, and technical documentation Familiarity with ERP systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary or technical education is an asset What We Offer Competitive salary based on experience Stable, team-oriented environment focused on safety, quality, and continuous improvement Opportunities for professional growth and involvement in improvement initiatives
