Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a team of steel fabricators, welders, and other shop personnel.
- Coordinate and supervise the work of shop personnel, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within company quality expectations.
- Read and interpret blueprints and construction plans to ensure accurate execution of projects.
- Coordinate maintenance and repair activities for fabrication equipment and machinery.
- Collaborate and maintain effective communication with Production Managers to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to project specifications.
- Implement and enforce quality and safety protocols to regulate to maintain a safe working environment.
- Provide guidance, support, and motivation to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
Qualifications:
- Must be bilingual English and Spanish
- Proven experience as a Shop Supervisor or similar role in the steel industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction and structural steel operation, including basic to advanced machinery operation and repair skills.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and construction plans.
- Familiarity with construction software such as Tekla.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.

$70,000.00- $80,000.
