Production Supervisor

Plant Manager Position Summary/Objective Are you highly motivated to achieve operational excellence in a manufacturing environment, capable of delivering significant results with minimal supervision? We are seeking a Production Supervisor that will oversee the smooth and safe operation of production lines, upholding the highest standards of quality, safety, and productivity. This role demands strong leadership, outstanding communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities:

Maintain a safe work environment: Ensure adherence to EHS procedures by all employees, promoting a safe and compliant work environment.

People Management :

Lead all aspects of people management, including goal setting, skill development, employee recognition and engagement, daily time tracking, and managing performance and disciplinary actions.

Production Schedule Fulfillment:

Guarantee the timely completion of production schedules, while prioritizing cost efficiency, quality standards, and lead time goals.

Inventory and Materials Oversight:

Collaborate with the materials team to guarantee the timely delivery of raw materials.

Reporting and Documentation:

Keep precise records of production activities, covering output, efficiency, and downtime. Prepare and deliver production reports to management.

Continuous Improvement:

Identify opportunities for operational enhancements and provide recommendations to senior leadership. Work with cross-functional teams to pinpoint opportunities for process optimization. Physical Demands Standing or sitting for a prolonged period of time. Must be able to lift 30 pounds at time. Position Type and Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time salary position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. for day shift and 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. for night shift, 60 hours per week. Occasional weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Education and Experience:

+3yrs of experience in a similar supervisory role.

Bachelor's Degree:

Bachelor's Degree preferred, not required. Equivalent experience and skills can be substituted for education Skills Proficiency in computer skills , including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other business software applications.
