With state-of-the-art facilities across the United States, including Fort Worth (TX), Amarillo (TX), Portland (OR), Spokane (WA), and Victorville (CA), IAC is committed to excellence, innovation, and growth in aerospace coatings. We are seeking ambitious, high-potential individuals to join our team as Junior Production Managers to support our expansion and strengthen our management pipeline. Job Overview The Junior Production Manager (Junior PM) is an entry-level management role designed to develop talented candidates into future Production Managers. This position is critical to supporting IAC's growth, particularly at our Fort Worth facility, with opportunities to contribute to other sites (Amarillo, Portland, Spokane, or Victorville). The Junior PM will participate in a structured 12-18-month training and development program, beginning with shadowing experienced managers and progressing to independent responsibility for production shifts. Successful candidates will demonstrate aptitude, ambition, and a commitment to learning, with the potential for promotion to Production Manager upon completion. Key Responsibilities Phase 1: Training (First 3 Months) Shadow Production Managers to gain hands-on knowledge of:
Paint Process :
Develop and execute paint plans for aircraft, ensuring quality and efficiency.
Scheduling :
Coordinate personnel assignments to optimize production timelines.
Hour Tracking :
Monitor and manage labor hours using internal systems.
Administration :
Utilize Paycom for payroll, generate reports, and participate in operational meetings.
Safety, Quality, and Compliance :
Learn how Production Managers ensure adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. Attend training sessions and observe daily operations across assigned facility bays. Complete introductory assignments to demonstrate understanding of processes. Phase 2: Shift Responsibility (Months 3-12) Manage a Production Shift with at least one assigned bay, under the supervision of a General Manager (GM), including:
Project Preparation :
Oversee setup and readiness for painting projects.
Paint Plan Execution :
Implement and monitor paint plans, ensuring alignment with customer specifications.
Daily Progress Reporting :
Provide updates to the GM on project status, identifying and resolving issues.
Customer Meetings :
Chair daily meetings with customers to discuss progress and address concerns.
Safety Oversight :
Ensure hangar safety compliance, conducting inspections and addressing risks.
Resource Management :
Schedule manhours and manage materials to meet project goals. Complete a one-month assignment at another IAC facility (e.g., AMA, PDX, GEG, or VCV) to gain cross-site experience. Deliver regular reports and participate in performance reviews to track development. Phase 3: Evaluation and Promotion (Months 12-18) Demonstrate readiness for full Production Manager responsibilities through consistent performance. Lead more complex shifts or multiple bays, as assigned. Upon successful completion, transition to a Production Manager role with increased responsibilities.
Qualifications Education :
Bachelor's degree or equivalent third-level education (e.g., in business, engineering, management, or related fields), demonstrating aptitude and ambition.
Experience :
No prior management experience required; candidates with internships, part-time roles, or leadership in academic/extracurricular activities are encouraged to apply. Experience in fast-paced environments (e.g., rental car agencies, retail management trainee programs) is a plus.
Skills :
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with teams and customers. Analytical mindset with the ability to learn technical processes (e.g., paint planning, scheduling). Organizational skills to manage time, resources, and reports. Adaptability and eagerness to learn in a dynamic, hands-on environment.

Compensation and Benefits Salary :
$45,000 - $55,000 per year, based on qualifications.
Promotion Potential :
Eligible for promotion to Production Manager within 12-18 months upon successful completion of the program.
