Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a Multi-Functional Manufacturing Associate Manager (Level 4) in Fort Worth, TX, to lead manufacturing operations for the JSF Production Assembly area. What You Will Be Doing In this role, you will oversee manufacturing activities, manage a represented workforce, and drive operational excellence in quality, schedule, and cost. This position requires a leader who can ensure compliance, safety, and efficiency while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and employee engagement. Manages more than one functional area of manufacturing, such as machining, assembly, tool and die, packaging. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Be responsible for all management responsibilities for a build team including performance management; oversee all work performed by your team to meet operational commitments; be responsible for long range planning. Set the shop's priorities and work with cross-functional teams to drive accountability to the schedules/priority Be required to implement new methodologies and provide motivation to the build team. Demonstrate a clear understanding of work in process and be able to effectively communicate status, issues and path forward plans to multiple levels of the organization, as well as communicate schedule and cost performance data to program stakeholders Perform look ahead analysis to proactively manage potential upcoming conflicts and obstacles to minimize any impact to delivery. Basic Qualifications:
Experience leading operations in a production environment. Experience working in cross-functional teams.
Desired Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience using SFM, PDM, SAP, STK and Tableau/Tool management. Lean/6 sigma experience. Prior leadership experience Experience with Microsoft Project Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment Proven ability to proactively identify and drive change Ability to manage, coach, train and motivate team in technical and leadership development. Demonstrated positive employee engagement with utilization of Culture of Accountability (COA) and Full Spectrum Leader (FSL) techniques.
