Full Job Description Schedule:
2nd Shift ~ Monday-Friday 3:30 PM-12:30 AM Productiv is seeking a hands-on, Bilingual Production Supervisor to lead kitting and hand-pack operations in our Grapevine, TX facility. This role focuses on supervising people on light-production lines assembling boxes and bags for major brands (e.g., beauty, personal care, consumer goods), not heavy manufacturing or forklift-driven warehouse work. You will own shift performance for multiple kitting lines: planning labor, hitting piece-rate and one-piece-flow targets, ensuring quality and presentation standards for consumer-facing kits, and building a safe, positive, high-pace environment. Lead daily kitting and hand-pack production lines assembling boxes and bags for retail and e-commerce customers. Plan labor and assign associates to lines based on work orders, volumes, and due dates. Manage one-piece flow and piece-rate production, hitting hourly units-per-hour (UPH) and throughput goals while maintaining quality. Monitor line balance, identify bottlenecks, and make real-time adjustments to keep orders on schedule.
Ensure presentation standards:
correct items, counts, labeling, inserts, and overall appearance of kits for consumer brands. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production area, enforcing safety and GMP/housekeeping expectations. Track and communicate key KPIs (e.g., UPH, labor productivity, quality/defect rates, rework, attendance) and lead daily huddles. Train, coach, and cross-train production associates and line leads on standard work and best practices. Partner with operations, inventory, and account management teams to ensure materials are staged and orders ship on time. Drive a culture of urgency, teamwork, and continuous improvement on the floor. Must
  • Have Experience 2+ years in a production leadership role specifically in kitting, hand-pack, co-packing, or light assembly (e-commerce, 3PL, contract packaging, or fulfillment center).
1+ year supervising or leading teams on production lines (kitting cells, pack lines, or similar). Direct experience with high-volume, people-driven production (lines of associates packing, assembling, or re-working product), not heavy equipment or machine-based manufacturing.
Bilingual:
fluent in English and Spanish Skills and Attributes Strong KPI mindset: comfortable using data (UPH, errors, labor hours, scrap/rework) to drive decisions and coach the team. Proven ability to lead from the floor: working side-by-side with associates, jumping in to demonstrate pace and quality standards. Effective communicator who can give clear instructions, feedback, and recognition in both English and Spanish. Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple orders/customers at once in a fast-moving environment. Nice to Have Experience in a 3PL, fulfillment, or contract packaging environment with consumer brands (beauty, personal care, retail). Familiarity with one-piece flow, lean concepts, and standard work in a light-manufacturing or fulfillment setting. Basic computer skills for production reporting and warehouse/production systems.
