Job Description

Sheet Metal Foreman Irving, TX 75062 Full-time Full-time Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sheet Metal Foreman to lead and oversee sheet metal ductwork construction projects on-site. This role is vital in ensuring that all aspects of sheet metal duct installation and quality control are executed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. As a key leader in our construction team, you will coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to deliver exceptional results while maintaining strict adherence to safety regulations and project timelines. Your expertise in construction management and sheet metal techniques will drive project success from start to finish. Duties Lead and supervise a sheet metal team on construction sites, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to blueprints, schematics, and specifications Coordinate daily activities with project managers and onsite construction superintendents in order to meet desired project schedules Oversee installation of ductwork and other sheet metal components with precision and attention to detail that meets company quality standards Manage material procurement, inventory, and budgeting to ensure timely availability of resources while minimizing waste Enforce OSHA safety standards and conduct regular safety meetings to promote a safe work environment for all team members Qualifications Sheet metal ductwork installation experience of 10+ years Proven management experience of 3+ years supervising a team that installs commercial ductwork efficiently, safely and accurately Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and schematics Ability to measure, sketch and order ductwork fittings accurately Familiarity with construction site safety protocols including OSHA regulations Ability to lift 80lbs and work in various conditions, including heights and confined spaces Excellent leadership skills with a track record of providing leadership, coaching and training to team members Strong communication, organization and problem-solving skills Ability to use any aerial lifts needed as it pertains to ductwork installation Join our team as a Sheet Metal Foreman where your leadership will shape successful projects while advancing your career in the thriving construction industry.
