- Tool crib This role , you will be responsible for the timely completion of Tool Crib related orders and projects.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervise Tool Crib operations, providing leadership, training, and daily direction to Tool Crib Attendants. Maintain and update the parts catalog within Oracle, ensuring accurate UPC identification and detailed manufacturing descriptions. Support the issuance of tools, equipment, and materials to employees while maintaining accurate records of all transactions. Assist with receiving, stocking, and replenishing inventory to maintain optimal stock levels and prevent shortages. Responsible for stock locations and cycle counting inventories on hand, as well as establishing min/max quantities. Perform periodic physical inventory audits to verify on-hand quantities and ensure data integrity. Assist in labeling, tagging, and identifying tools, equipment, and parts for proper tracking and organization. Routinely contacts OEM manufacturers and orders replacement parts overnight as needed. Utilize eMaint to track open parts orders, verify outstanding items, and identify machine serial numbers and manufacturers. Lead Tool Crib Attendants in maintaining accurate inventory records and a clean, organized workspace, incorporating 5S principles. Approve weekly employee timecards and conduct annual performance evaluations for Tool Crib staff. Collaborate with Accounts Payable to onboard new vendors, resolve invoice discrepancies, and ensure timely payments.. What do we offer? High School Diploma or Equivalent Four years of manufacturing inventory control or experience.English language skills:
Able to read, write, speak and comprehend English. Math skills and accuracy on requestions with regards to costs are critical. General office environment, with some physical demands. Computer skills with Microsoft Office , Oracle/SAP or other programs. Strong initiative and team player while maintaining expectations of the team. Work independently while understanding the necessity for communication and coordinating work efforts with other employees and organizations. Physical Demands & Conditions (Applicable to Igloo Operators, Technicians, Leaders, and Other Roles in Manufacturing) Standing & Walking Roles may involve extended periods (up to 12 hours) of standing and walking, including moving at a brisk pace and occasional stair climbing. Postural Requirements Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, and working in low or awkward positions during production or maintenance tasks. Lifting & Material Handling Operator-level roles may involve lifting up to 25 lb repeatedly throughout the shift. Technician-level roles may involve lifting up to 50 lb multiple times per day, including overhead lifts. Where possible, mechanical aids (e.g., hoists, forklifts) are used. Fine Motor Skills & Tool Use Use of both hands is required to operate tools, perform adjustments, and handle assembly materials with precision. Visual Requirements Sufficient visual acuity (e.g., 20/40 with or without correction) is necessary for tasks involving inspection and safe equipment operation. Environmental Conditions Work is performed in a production setting where seasonal temperatures may range from 100-120°F (with humidity) in summer to cooler conditions in winter. High noise levels are common; hearing protection is provided and required. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as ear protection, safety glasses, steel-toed shoes, gloves, and protective clothing may be required depending on the task. Additional Job Considerations These roles can be physically demanding, involving repetitive motions and long hours. Technicians may be required to handle heavy molds and materials; use of material handling equipment is provided and encouraged.
