Blast Control is looking for a versatile and experienced Assembly & Installation Foreman to grow our great team!
About Blast Control:
We design and manufacture novel pressure test protection systems for many industries around the world, including aerospace, Oil & Gas, and HVAC. Our Pressure Pro® Barrier Systems safeguard people from the risk of projectiles that may be launched in the event of an equipment failure. Pressure Pro® Barriers are essentially blast curtains and blast blankets capable of containing high energy, industrial projectiles. They are applied in a range of ways, from a stand-alone blast blanket that is wrapped around equipment, to larger, more complex configurations involving the integration of Pressure Pro® Barriers to structure systems.
General Job Description:
The Blast Control Assembly & Installation Team produces a wide range of structure systems used in conjunction with our Pressure Pro® Barriers. This primarily involves preparation and assembly of steel and modular aluminum structures. Once constructed, Pressure Pro® Barriers are then installed to structure systems. The role will involve periodic travel for installation of systems on clients' sites. Assembly & Installation Team Primary Roles & Responsibilities:
Reading assembly plans, drawings and reviewing 3D models. Assembly of structural components, using power tools and hand tools. Cutting steel and aluminum using band saws, chop saws, and grinders. Review and completion of documentation such as work orders and packing lists. Periodic travel to client's site to install systems.
Crate Building:
Cutting lumber, using chop saws and circular saws. Forklift, telehandler, and man-lift operation. Miscellaneous inventory and material handling.
Experience Required:
2+ years in a supervisory position of a technical trade, such as mechanical contractor work, industrial assembly, construction, steel erection, iron work, manufacturing, fabrication, welding and/ or carpentry.

Ability and desire to learn new skills and concepts. Willing and able to travel to client sites to complete product installations. Willing and able to work overtime periodically. Proficiency in welding and steel fabrication is a plus.
Additional Desirable Skills & Traits:
Formal leadership training. Formal safety training. Equipment repair/ mechanic skills. Electrical knowledge/ skills. Machine automation. Manufacturing training (i.e., Lean Six Sigma, etc.) Sewing machine operation. CNC machine operation. Belief that any mechanical challenge can be resolved. Opportunities for growth into new roles and responsibilities exist for team members with the drive to pursue them. - Compensation Based on Specific Qualifications and Skills.
