Steel Erecting Foreman / Superintendent Real Steel Canopies Lubbock, TX Job Details Full-time $17 - $25 an hour 21 hours ago Qualifications Steel construction materials Driver's License Managing construction project teams Managing teams in a construction management role Steel frame structures Full Job Description Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Steel Erecting Superintendent / Foreman to lead field operations and manage steel erection crews on commercial and industrial construction projects. The ideal candidate is hands-on, highly organized, safety-focused, and capable of coordinating manpower, equipment, subcontractors, and daily jobsite operations. Responsibilities Lead and supervise steel erection crews on active job sites Read and interpret structural steel drawings and erection plans Coordinate daily field activities with project managers and general contractors Ensure projects stay on schedule and within labor budgets Conduct daily safety meetings and enforce OSHA compliance Manage equipment, tools, materials, and crane coordination Oversee bolt-up, rigging, welding, decking, and structural alignment Train and mentor crew members Complete daily reports and maintain jobsite documentation Identify and resolve field issues quickly and professionally Qualifications 5+ years of experience in structural steel erection leadership Previous experience as a foreman or superintendent preferred Strong knowledge of steel erection procedures and jobsite safety Ability to read blueprints and structural drawings Experience coordinating lifts, and rigging operations OSHA 30 certification preferred NCCCO, forklift, telehandler, or welding certifications are a plus Ability to travel Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Pay:
$17.00 - $25.00 per hour People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply
