With over four decades of experience, our team is dedicated to delivering innovative solutions that prioritize customer satisfaction, energy efficiency, and system flexibility. As we launch our new facility in Mesquite, Texas, we are looking for talented individuals to support our operations and contribute to the site's success. Job Summary To support this growth, we are seeking a Plant Supervisor to play a key role in overseeing daily production operations, supporting team performance, and ensuring a safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing environment at our new Mesquite facility. The individual directs his team of employees, he takes care of the distribution of tasks and is responsible for the work done. He is also responsible for training the team leaders who will then take charge of the day-to-day management of the work. Thus, he ensures the conformity of the finished product while motivating his employees to achieve results. Finally, he is reactive to any problem that may arise and is proactive in finding solutions to problems. Duties Management of deadlines and compliance with production standards Organize the work of the teams according to the project schedule and the priorities established by the Plant Manager Ensure adequate transmission of information to team leaders Communicate daily objectives to the whole team and ensure daily follow-up Ensure a good distribution of the teams according to the projects in progress as well as manage the "Flexing" Plan upcoming work in conjunction with team leaders to ensure materials and information are available to employees on the production line Maintain daily attendance and attendance records and ensure constant communication with management for resolution of potential issues or discipline Controls the quality of the work provided by the employees of the different departments Motivates its employees to ensure optimal teamwork within the department and across departments Leads by example in terms of Company Health and Safety regulations and policies Actively participates in the continuous improvement of processes and operational processes Ensure close monitoring of internal non-conformities Complete production sheets and files properly (TQC, rework, time waste, inspection, test report, shipping, timecard, training, etc.) Report any incident or accident to the Plant Manager and the Human Resources department (investigation, report, follow-up, etc.) Coordinate necessary maintenance & repairs with the maintenance department and the Plant Manager Manage 5S, daily maintenance and work areas so that they are clean and functional Train the work team according to the talents and weaknesses of each to ensure adequate staff progression Evaluate the performance of each member of its staff as well as motivate employees Ability to manage special projects Other responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications Education:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Experience:
3 yrs' experience in managing a team 5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing facility
