Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Structural Steel and Fabrication Foreman to lead our construction teams in executing high-quality steel structures and fabrication projects. This pivotal role involves overseeing daily operations on-site, supervising skilled tradespeople, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining project schedules. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction management, extensive experience in structural steel work, and excellent leadership skills to motivate teams and deliver projects efficiently. Your expertise will help drive our projects forward with precision, safety, and excellence. Responsibilities Lead and supervise all on-site activities related to structural steel erection and fabrication, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and within budget. Oversee quality control processes to ensure all steel components meet industry standards and project specifications. Enforce OSHA safety regulations rigorously across the site, conducting regular safety meetings and inspections. Supervise subcontractors and craft workers, providing guidance on proper techniques for welding, bolting, cutting, and assembly of steel structures. Maintain detailed documentation of work progress, change orders, contracts, and safety records. Skills Proven management experience in construction site supervision with a focus on structural steel or heavy fabrication projects. Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, and project scheduling principles. Ability to read technical schematics and use measurement tools. Knowledge of OSHA safety standards specific to steel erection and fabrication environments. Excellent leadership skills with supervising experience in fast-paced construction settings; capable of managing multiple teams simultaneously.
