Machine Shop Supervisor

This is a great role for a hands-on leader who enjoys supporting both the shop floor and the team, working alongside engineering and project management, and being part of a close-knit office with a less corporate, more supportive culture. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Machine Shop Supervisor position include: Proven experience as a mechanic or technician with field service operations experience, along with strong team management and supervisory skills Experience with CNC or NC Programming, including Mastercam, and strong knowledge of electrical systems, mechanical components, hydraulic systems, and drilling/rig environments Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints effectively, with excellent problem-solving and communication skills Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; local travel to job sites as needed in a company vehicle with gas provided Supervise the machine shop team while assisting on the floor in both supervisory and hands-on production roles Conduct inspections of machinery and equipment, perform repairs, replacements, and preventative maintenance, and document all service activities Communicate with management regarding maintenance needs, safety protocols, and repair procedures while adhering to company safety standards and policies Support fabrication, mechanics, machinists, and the design/construction of pipeline trenching equipment while reporting to the project manager

Salary :

$28 - $30 per hour, commensurate with experience.
