Job DescriptionJob Summary:
The Production Supervisor provides direct supervision and leadership in the assigned area having overall accountability for all aspects of the operation including but not limited to: Safety, Quality, Production, employee development and retention, and Facilities and equipment integrity conservation. 
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide a safe and clean work environmentEnforce Company Safety RulesEnforce Company Employee GuidelinesDirect Supervision of employees in the assigned areaEvaluate and Coordinate training needs to promote employee developmentCoach and guide employees through their developmentApply disciplinary actions according to Employee GuidelinesResponsible for evaluating employee performance and providing feedback and documentationResponsible for daily scheduling and resource allocation to complete production demandsResolve day-to-day operation issues effectivelyEnsure the line's objectives are met for Safety, Quality, Efficiency, and ProductivityPlan and implement process improvements to maximize yields and throughputComplete production documentationInvolved in corrective action plans in the assigned areaPerform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications5+ years of experience of manufacturingMust pass the drug test and background checkMust be able to communicate both written and orally in English and SpanishAdditional InformationInternship hours will be dependent on the student's availability while school is in session. During the summer, interns are expected to work 40 hours per week, or as mutually agreed upon. Applicants will have the opportunity to share their availability during the interview process.
