The ideal candidate will oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring quality, efficiency, and adherence to safety standards while meeting production goals. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who excels in a high-precision manufacturing environment. This is a weekend split shift on the weekend. The desired schedule is Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 12:00pm - 12:00am . Role is designed to work 36 hours and paid 40 hours.
Key Responsibilities:
Safety and Compliance:
Ensure all team members adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace. Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and company policies, ensuring full compliance.Team Leadership:
Supervise, train, and mentor a team of assembly technicians performing intricate hand assembly processes. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes collaboration and accountability. Oversee production operations, addressing complaints, and resolving issues as per applicable laws and the organization's policy.Production Management:
Plan, organize, and manage daily production activities to meet delivery schedules and quality standards. Direct production activities in accordance with production schedules and established priorities, ensuring maximum utilization of assigned resources, materials, and equipment. Monitor workflows to identify and resolve bottlenecks or inefficiencies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Quality Assurance and Engineering, to ensure seamless operations. Create and supervise recovery plans for gaps in commitments. Evaluate and assess specifications, monitoring the process to ensure conformity to specifications.Quality Assurance:
Maintain high standards of craftsmanship and attention to detail in all assembly operations. Conduct regular inspections to ensure products meet specifications and customer expectations.Process Improvement:
Implement and sustain lean manufacturing practices to optimize productivity and minimize waste. Identify opportunities for process enhancements and work with engineering teams to refine assembly methods. Interpret procedures, methods, and correct use of production equipment for production leads and operators, ensuring standard and efficient processes are followed. What your background should look like Proven experience (5+ years) as a supervisor or lead in a manufacturing or assembly environment, preferably involving high-precision or high-end products. Strong understanding of hand assembly techniques and processes, including soldering, small part assembly, or other fine motor skill applications. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team. Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles, 5S practices, and continuous improvement methodologies. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges. Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with ERP/MRP systems preferably SAP. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training or education is a plus.Competencies SET :

Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $76,400 - 114,500 (subject to change dependent on physical location) Posted salary ranges are made in good faith.
