Job Overview:
A night shift supervisor would be available to supervise the 7 pm - 7 am (on a 3,2,2 schedule) shift. The supervisor would be directly supervising 15-25 employees in the Weaving Department. They would carry out supervisory responsibilities following the organization's policies and applicable laws. While running a shift, they would also maintain a safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources, maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise all weave room personnel and operations during assigned shifts.
  • Monitor machine performance. Minimize downtime and ensure equipment is operating correctly.
  • Ensure production meets quality standards and output goals.
  • Coordinate with maintenance, planning and quality departments to resolve issues promptly.
  • Train, coach, evaluate and discipline team members to enhance performance and ensure compliance with procedures.
  • Always enforce company policies and safety protocols.
  • Identify areas of improvement and implement process enhancements.
  • Evaluates written data such as job orders, product specifications and operations sheets, parts and materials inventory lists, and machine and worker production rates, to establish efficient allocation and scheduling of parts, materials, machines, and sequences of operations and workflow.
  • Determines work procedures, prepares work schedules, and expedites workflow.
  • Maintains harmony among workers and resolves grievances.
  • Prepares composite reports from individual reports of subordinates.
