Job Description
MAJOR DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead and coordinate daily production activities to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations while meeting production throughput, quality, and labor utilization targets. Supervise, coach, and develop frontline employees through performance management, training, communication, and employee engagement initiatives. Monitor production, quality, and safety performance metrics; identify opportunities for continuous improvement and support implementation of Lean manufacturing and operational improvement initiatives. Partner with Safety, Quality, Maintenance, and Sanitation teams to maintain compliance with food safety, GMP, sanitation, and workplace safety standards, including participation in audits, investigations, and corrective actions. Lead shift communications, team huddles, and operational coordination activities while supporting emergency response efforts and maintaining accurate operational documentation and reporting. MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Education:
High School diploma or GED required. Experience:
Minimum 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment Minimum 3 years of manufacturing experience preferred Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Ability to work weekends, holidays, and extended hours as business needs require PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
Associate degree in manufacturing, industrial technology, engineering, or related technical field preferred Previous experience in food manufacturing or high-speed production environments preferred Experience with Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, or behavior-based safety programs preferred Strong leadership, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and drive results in a fast-paced environment PHYSICAL DEMANDS
