General Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee daily bakery production operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in food manufacturing and a strong understanding of production flow, quality, and food safety standards. Responsibilities and Duties Duties include, but not limited to the following: Oversee the production process for the facility, managing the short-term production schedule. Report accurate counts to office staff for tracking labor, waste and damaged product on a daily basis. Ensure that production is cost effective, products are produced on time and standards are maintained. Ensure that all food safety policies and procedures as well as health and safety guidelines are followed. Manage and motivate a team of employees to include hiring, scheduling, work assignment, training and reviewing performance. Other duties as assigned.
Skills/qualifications:
Be able to lift 50 lbs. throughout the day Prior experience in food manufacturing is required Be able to stand for long hours Work in a fast-passed environment Knowledge of food safety regulations and GMPs Strong communication and leadership skills Must have food handlers card
