Shop Foreman

Lionheart Fence Builders is seeking a reliable, organized, and hands-on Shop Foreman to oversee daily shop operations, material staging, equipment coordination, and delivery logistics. This role is critical in keeping crews effecient, projects organized, and operations running smoothly. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and able to lead by example in a fast-paced construction environment.

Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day organization and cleanliness of the shop/yard. Maintain an effecient layout for materials, tools, trailers, and equipment Ensure all inventory is properly stored, labeled, and accessible Monitor shop safety and enforce safe work practices Stage materials for upcoming fence installation projects Verify material counts and accuracy prior to crew pick up or delivery Coordinate and complete deliveries to job sites as needed Assist with loading and unloading materials, equipment, and trailers Communicate with office staff and field crews regarding project needs and scheduling Maintain and track tools, equipment, and company vehicles Coordinate routine maintenance and repairs for equipment Identify damaged or missing tools and ensure replacements are ordered Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting when needed Support installation crews by ensuring they are prepared for each project Train and assist shop personnel when applicable

Pay:

$30.00 - $40.00 per hour
