Appleton Requirements:

At least 3 to 5 years of experience in the printing industry, or in a related manufacturing area Collaborative working style and able to work with a variety of personalities, across multiple departments Possess excellent communication skills and critical thinking skills Proficient in using a computer including data entry/processing skills including MS Office or Outlook Good decision-making skills along with the ability to manage conflict effectively

Responsibilities:

Interviewing and hiring Training new and existing employees Planning, assigning, and directing work Establish, prioritize, coordinate, and execute production schedules Work with customer service as needed regarding product due dates Communicate press schedules with pre-press department Organize schedule with bindery/delivery departments Oversee quality of work from ticket entry to finishing/delivery Discussing employee performance and giving guidance or corrective action Working closely with management team regarding issues impacting production or analyzing organization processes Develop production systems to determine product handling and storage requirements Assist production staff and other equipment during peak demand times
