Role:
We are seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor to lead our plastic injection molding and assembly operations. This role is responsible for driving production performance, ensuring product quality, and leading a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with experience in injection molding and a passion for continuous improvement. This position is based on-site in Kenosha, WI. Relocation assistance is not available.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate daily molding and assembly operations to meet production, quality, and efficiency targets Optimize staffing and workflow to maximize productivity Monitor production setups, assembly processes, and product quality; troubleshoot issues as needed Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams Ensure effective shift-to-shift communication and operational continuity Train, coach, and develop employees; conduct performance evaluations and enforce company policies Collaborate with warehouse to ensure availability of materials and components Maintain compliance with Quality Management System (QMS) and Environmental Management System (EMS) requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
2-4 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment (injection molding preferred) High school diploma or equivalent Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills Working knowledge of injection molding processes and assembly operations Familiarity with SPC and quality control procedures Ability to work independently and communicate effectively across teams
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field Experience with lean manufacturing principles Bilingual (Spanish/English) Forklift certification
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 3 hours at a time) Frequent bending, stooping, and lifting (up to 35 lbs.)
