RESPONSIBILITIES
Mentor & lead the assigned production team Drive safety programs and safety culture across a multi-shift organization Ensure Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost priorities to meet customer demand and consistently improves. Drive safety programs and teams to deliver program compliance and resolution of findings Own quality at the source by identifying, resolving and preventing all quality matters Manage staffing/headcount to meet demand across shifts. Establish and enforce stable production systems Drive Lean standard work, current operating procedures, and clear standards. Manage production by utilizing data to actively control labor, equipment, materials, quality, schedules, and on-time delivery. Drive accountability, visibility, and performance across all shifts. Ensure production teams are equipped & trained to perform required duties Drive disciplined and timely execution of all production reporting requirements within the IQMS system. Proactively keep abreast of demand and the published schedule. Lead by example through visible engagement on the floor Develop supervisors, leads, and operators through effective coaching & mentoring Drive a Lean culture Engage the workforce in improvement efforts focused on waste elimination, flow, and sustained performance gains. Recruit, develop, coach, and mentor employees to build capability and depth required to produce complex molded and assembled products. Communicate performance expectations and results by sharing labor, capacity, and operational metrics to engage teams in improvement.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Engineering or related field 10+ years of injection molding or related manufacturing experience. Plastics, LSR, Quality, Lean, Sigma, & Leadership certifications and studies are also valued Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and improve production team performance through effective leadership, coaching, and continuous improvement. Strong interpersonal and communication skills that foster trust, drive alignment, support change, and continuous improvement. Vertically and cross functionally. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Collaborative team player who drives results through others.
Pay:
$115,000.00
