Production Supervisor (1st shift)

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Production Supervisor to lead our manufacturing operations and ensure efficient production processes. In this role, you will oversee daily manufacturing activities, coordinate core room workflow, and manage a team of production workers. This position offers an exciting opportunity to drive operational excellence in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities

• Reviews and provides input on production schedule and adjusts to achieve efficiency and to meet customer due dates.
• Ensures daily productivity by monitoring and adjusting labor to meet customer due dates. Monitor material usage for each shift.
• Responsible for the quality of all finished goods within their department.

Actively uses internal quality processes and procedures to meet customer expectations. Responsible for ensuring all employees are trained on all applicable quality system procedures and policies. Responsible for enforcing quality control procedures and policies including but not limited to: process work instructions, inspection records, PDS by part number. Conducts weekly inventory to maintain accurate volume levels of materials. Trains and ensures compliance with operating procedures, quality standards and company policies. Provides coaching to employees who are not meeting expectations. Ensures adherence to environmental, health and safety procedures. Provides performance feedback to direct reports. Collaborates with Plant Manager and Human Resources on performance reviews, discipline, wage adjustments, and terminations. Assists HR with tours for candidates and recommends candidates for hire. Accurately and timely completion of required documentation including quality, production, safety, payroll and other forms. Regular attendance and other duties as assigned. From $70,000.00 per year
