Lead SMAW Welder

We are currently seeking an experienced Lead SMAW Welder to join a growing team in Cheyenne, Wyoming. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in stick welding within the oil & gas industry and the ability to lead crews in fast-paced field environments.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3+ years of SMAW (stick welding) experience
• Prior experience in the oil & gas industry
• Proven leadership or foreman experience
• Ability to read blueprints, weld procedures, and fabrication drawings
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality standards
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel if needed

Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality SMAW welding on structural and industrial projects
• Lead and coordinate crews in field and shop environments
• Ensure all work meets company and industry standards
• Maintain safe working conditions and enforce safety procedures
• Assist with project planning, execution, and mentoring junior welders This is a fully onsite, full time, temp to hire opportunity Compensation ranges based on experience
