This role is designed for a self-motivated leader who thrives in a fast-paced production environment. You will work directly with the Team Lead to oversee daily operations, ensure safety compliance, and drive productivity across a team of 8 or more associates.

Key Responsibilities Team Leadership:

Assist in supervising and motivating a team of 8+ production associates to meet daily output targets and quality standards.

Production Oversight:

Monitor assembly lines or manufacturing cells to ensure smooth workflow, troubleshooting bottlenecks as they arise.

Equipment Operation:

Safely operate Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) and other machinery to move materials, support line replenishment, and maintain an organized floor.

Safety & Compliance:

Enforce the consistent use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and ensure all team members adhere to OSHA and internal safety protocols.

Training & Development:

Assist in onboarding new hires and providing "on-the-floor" coaching to improve technical skills and efficiency.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of production logs, attendance, and safety incidents.

Required Qualifications Experience:

Minimum of 2 years in a high-volume manufacturing or production environment.

Leadership:

At least 1 year of experience leading or assisting in the management of teams (8+ people preferred).

Equipment Proficiency:

Proven experience driving powered equipment (e.g., forklifts, reach trucks, or pallet jacks).

Technical Skills:

Ability to read production schedules, understand manufacturing KPIs, and use basic computer software for reporting.

Core Competencies Self-Motivation:

A proactive mindset with the ability to take initiative without constant supervision.

Communication:

Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively bridge the gap between management and floor staff.

Adaptability:

Ability to remain calm and effective in a rapidly changing, high-pressure environment. Physical Requirements Ability to stand/walk for the duration of a shift (12 hours). Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Comfort working in a manufacturing plant environment with varying noise levels.

Pay:

$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
