Position Overview A Japanese company is seeking a hands-on Production Control Staff member to support and optimize production planning operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in both operational and cross-functional environments. This position requires active involvement in daily production control activities while contributing to overall operational efficiency. In addition to production control responsibilities, this role will also support Japanese-English interpretation and communication between local staff and Japanese management when needed. Key Responsibilities Support production control (PC) operations and daily workflow coordination Assist with production planning, scheduling, and inventory flow management Support logistics coordination and material movement processes Assist with select HR-related administrative responsibilities Provide Japanese-English interpretation and translation support during meetings and daily operations Facilitate communication between Japanese management and local team members Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiency and output Prepare reports and maintain accurate production-related records Learn and utilize production management systems Support continuous improvement initiatives and operational projects Required Skills & Qualifications Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word Willingness to learn and utilize production management systems Japanese language proficiency required (business-level verbal and written communication) Interpretation and translation experience preferred Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Team-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail Experience in production control, logistics, or manufacturing support is preferred
