The Role As a Solar Production Specialist, you will sit at the heart of our manufacturing process. This role combines high-tech machine operation with skilled hand-craftsmanship. Master the
Machine:
You will operate state-of-the-art Stringer Machines that utilize robotic precision to assemble solar cells. You'll be responsible for monitoring performance, performing basic troubleshooting, and ensuring quality output.
The Human Touch:
You will use professional soldering techniques to repair and reclaim solar panels. This intricate work is vital to our mission of zero-waste production and ensures every panel meets our high-efficiency standards.
Advanced Training:
No solar experience? No problem. We provide specialized, hands-on training on solar-specific equipment, helping you gain technical skills that are in high demand globally. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate automated stringing and bussing equipment. Perform precision soldering to repair cell connections and damaged panels. Conduct visual inspections to identify defects in solar cells or glass. Maintain a clean and organized workstation in accordance with 5S standards. Collaborate with the maintenance and quality teams to minimize downtime and waste. Follow all safety protocols, including the consistent use of required PPE.
What We Look For Experience:
Previous experience in manufacturing, electronics assembly, or a position requiring high manual dexterity (e.g., soldering, small parts assembly).
Detail-Oriented:
Ability to spot small defects and maintain high quality in a fast-paced environment.
Technical Aptitude:
Comfortable working with automated machinery and basic computer interfaces.
Reliability:
A strong work ethic and a "team-first" mentality.
Physical Ability:
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs as needed.
Pay:
$17.00 - $18.00 per hour
