Job Description
Overview As a member of the Production team, you will be responsible for creating finished products of goods and apparel by applying various decoration techniques. This includes but is not limited to direct-to-garment, heat transfer, vinyl and others. Also includes, but is not limited to, running a digital printer, pre-treatment processes, and heat press. The Production Specialist will need to work together with the design consultants to bring the customer's vision to life in the form of a high-quality final product, ensuring on-time fulfillment of customer orders. Responsibilities Operations
- Proficient in the operation of all garment decoration production machines (DTG, DTF, heat press, etc.)
- Highly knowledgeable on processes and procedures for the various decoration techniques
- Collaborates with other staff members ensuring all customer needs are met
- Maintains a production workspace environment that is clean, well-organized and safe
- Assists in the management of inventory of supplies and repair parts needed to maintain all equipment in a working status
- Advises Production Manager and/or Management Team on required production equipment downtime due to maintenance, servicing or equipment failure
- Capable of performing routine maintenance and repairs on all production equipment
- Cross-trained in key retail sales processes and equipment and can take payments on customer orders
- Assists Production Manager and/or Management team with ordering of product and supplies to meet production needs when required Team Interaction
- Works well with Production Team members to meet all production timelines
- Effectively communicates with Sales/Design team to understand and ensure customer needs are met on every order
- Acts as a brand ambassador for the franchise and its values Customer Experience
- Cultivates an environment of genuine customer connection by being highly focused on delivering exceptional customer experiences that are engaging, personalized and fun
- Promotes feedback from customers on new ideas for improving and evolving the customer experience Key Skills & Abilities Previous experience helpful, but not required.
