In this energetic position, you will be responsible for assembling fabric components with precision and efficiency, ensuring each product meets our quality standards. Your expertise in sewing and garment construction will contribute directly to delivering exceptional products to our customers. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Ensure that all materials and auxiliary supplies are available prior to beginning work.
  • Start sewing machinery at the beginning of a shift and test it for proper functionality.
  • Address any discrepancies or problems faced during the testing period.
  • Follow company quality standards, ISO standards, and AS standards as required.
  • Pin, mark, trim and do any required preparation work on raw material assemblies.
  • Sew all raw materials, including support tapes and webbing.
  • Perform all daily routine maintenance and adjustments on sewing machines.
  • Complete all required paperwork and recordkeeping.
  • Assist as needed in the training of new operators.
  • Read and interpret work specification sheets and drawings.
  • Follows company rules and procedures.
  • Complete work on schedule as assigned.
  • Perform other related duties as required or assigned.
  • All other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Able to read drawings and patterns a plus Industrial sewing machine operation experience a plus Prefer at least 2 years' experience in manufacturing DoD, Military experience a plus Capable of using standard measuring tools. Pass the sample sewing tests. High school diploma, GED or equivalent preferred. Ability to comprehend and carry out oral and written drawing instructions. Be able to perform the physical demands of the job.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The position requires that the employee be regularly required to stand, move, talk, see, hear, and use equipment without limitations. The employee is regularly required to lift, stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. You must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds without limitations. Specific vision abilities include close, distance, and color vision without limitations. Specific physical abilities include abilities to move items in all directions with body, hands, and fingers without limitations. Individuals must be able to stand for 10 hours.

One location; Mesa, AZ 85212 (Required)
WORK AUTHORIZATION
United States (Required) Must be a U.S. person in order to comply with all applicable U.S. export control and security regulations. U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident with documentation, or individual permitted under ITAR to work at a facility supporting military contracts.
Pay:
$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
