In person Job Summary Pallet & Lumber Supply, LLC is seeking full-time Lumber Mill Production Associates for our first shift production team. This position works in a covered production facility stacking lumber, sorting lumber, supporting pallet manufacturing, and operating machinery as needed. The ideal candidate is dependable, hard-working, and comfortable working in a fast-paced lumber mill and pallet manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on position that requires physical work, attention to safety, and the ability to work as part of a team. This position is performed inside a covered production building. The work area provides shade, lighting, access to cold water, and necessary employee facilities; however, the building is not air conditioned and work temperatures may reflect outdoor conditions. Key Responsibilities Stack lumber and pallet components on the production floor. Sort lumber by size, type, and quality as directed. Assist with pallet manufacturing and production work. Operate machinery as trained and directed by management. Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe. Follow company safety procedures at all times. Work with supervisors and other team members to meet production goals. Maintain consistent attendance and report to work on time. Perform other production and general labor duties as assigned. Requirements Ability to work full-time on first shift from 3:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Ability to work 40-50 hours per week. Ability to perform physical labor in a lumber mill and manufacturing environment. Ability to work in a covered production building where temperatures may reflect outdoor conditions. Ability to stand, bend, lift, stack, sort, and move materials throughout the shift. Dependable and punctual. Willingness to learn and follow directions. Ability to work safely around machinery, lumber, pallets, and production equipment. Previous production, warehouse, lumber, pallet, or manufacturing experience is helpful but not required. Preferred Experience Experience in pallet manufacturing, lumber, warehouse, production, or general labor. Experience working around machinery or production equipment. Experience working in a fast-paced team environment. Starting Bonus Advance This position includes a $500 starting bonus advance for eligible new employees. The starting bonus advance is paid in installments of $100 per week through normal payroll processing. The company's payroll is paid one week behind, and bonus advance payments will be processed according to the company's normal payroll schedule. To fully earn the starting bonus advance, the employee must complete six full weeks of active employment and remain in good standing through that period. The starting bonus advance is intended to reward employees who start the job, show up consistently, remain with the company during the initial training period, and demonstrate dependable attendance and performance. If employment ends before six full weeks are completed, whether through voluntary resignation, job abandonment, or termination for cause, any starting bonus advance amounts already paid may be subject to repayment or recoupment in accordance with company policy, the employee's signed bonus agreement, and applicable law. Work Environment This position is located in a covered lumber mill and pallet manufacturing facility. Employees work around lumber, pallets, machinery, forklifts, and other production equipment. The production area is protected from direct sun and includes shade, lighting, access to cold water, and necessary employee facilities. The building is not air conditioned, and employees should be comfortable working in temperatures that may reflect outdoor conditions. This is a physical, hands-on job in a manufacturing environment.
