Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA) Inspector to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this vital role, you will ensure the quality and integrity of printed circuit board assemblies through meticulous inspection and testing. Your expertise will help maintain our high standards of excellence, supporting our mission to deliver top-tier electronic components to our global customers. Duties Conduct thorough visual inspections of printed circuit boards (PCBs) for defects, proper component placement, and adherence to IPC 610 standards. Verify solder joints, surface mount technology (SMT) components, and mechanical assemblies for quality compliance. Use precision measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers to confirm component dimensions and placement accuracy. Test electrical wiring, schematics, and electrical connections using ohmmeters and other testing devices to ensure functionality. Document inspection results accurately, noting any discrepancies or defects for rework or rejection. Collaborate with manufacturing teams to identify root causes of quality issues and implement corrective actions. Maintain a clean, organized work environment in accordance with safety protocols and quality standards. Skills Strong knowledge of PCB assembly processes, including surface mount technology (SMT) and soldering techniques. Familiarity with IPC 610 standards for electronic assembly inspection. Experience reading schematics and electrical wiring diagrams. Mechanical aptitude with hand tools, power tools, machining equipment, calipers, and other measurement instruments. Electrical experience with testing devices such as ohmmeters and troubleshooting electrical circuits. Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately. Mechanical knowledge related to assembly, machining, and use of hand tools for minor repairs or adjustments.
